Throughout this series, we’ve explored how capable environments are shaped by both physical and social factors, from accessible spaces to meaningful activities and positive relationships.

In this webinar, we introduce another essential element for successful transitions: mindful, reflective, and supportive caregivers. We’ll highlight some of the core competencies we value across BeyondAutism services, and share examples of how our practitioners enable learners to engage in purposeful activities linked to their interests and goals, such as leisure, work, or social participation.

You’ll also hear a case study from our Sixth Form, where Teaching and Learning Mentors support learners in their transition to adulthood by offering opportunities to explore new skills, take on responsibilities, and grow in confidence.

BeyondAutism

BeyondAutism is a charity working to ensure autistic children and young adults access an education that empowers a life full of choice, independence and opportunity.

We provide expert education services from pre-school to 25, delivering rapid outcomes through our Early Years, schools, and Post-19 services. Our Outreach and Fast Responder® teams work across the country to reduce school placement breakdown and build long-term local capacity.
