A capable environment is one that fosters a genuine sense of inclusion and belonging.

In this webinar, we’ll explore how the language we use, both in terminology and tone, can shape culture within schools and services. We’ll share practical ways to ensure communication is respectful, identity-affirming, and aligned with the values of an inclusive setting.

You’ll also hear first-hand reflections from autistic individuals on their school journeys, highlighting moments where a more capable environment could have meant being included, not excluded.

BeyondAutism

BeyondAutism is a charity working to ensure autistic children and young adults access an education that empowers a life full of choice, independence and opportunity.

We provide expert education services from pre-school to 25, delivering rapid outcomes through our Early Years, schools, and Post-19 services. Our Outreach and Fast Responder® teams work across the country to reduce school placement breakdown and build long-term local capacity.
